This chapter explores how a beleaguered Mae Murray tried unsuccessfully to revive her career and ended up sleeping on a park bench in New York City’s Central Park. Murray’s court battles to retain custody of her son, Koran Mdivani, are also covered in detail. For the first time, Koran, whose name was changed to Daniel Michael Cunning by his adoptive family, speaks on the record about the court battle. Murray’s romances with boxer Maxie Rosenbloom and actor Wallace Beery are also covered.
