This chapter details the making of The Unsinkable Molly Brown (1964). Walters re-teams with Roger Edens and is disappointed when Debbie Reynolds is cast over the preferred Shirley MacLaine. Molly Brown’s location filming is recalled, as are Walters’ on-going feuds with producer Lawrence Weingarten. Reynolds wins an Academy Award nomination and Molly Brown earns a big profit at the box office. This becomes Walters’ final film at M-G-M.
