This book chronicles the 2006–7 season of the Northern Kentucky University women's basketball team. Led by revered head coach Nancy Winstel, the Norse rallied to yet another remarkable season despite injuries and early losses. The author of this book was granted unparalleled access and followed the players through practices, drills, emotional meetings, and, of course, heart-stopping competitive play.
