This chapter narrative follows the original Limestone Trace from Loudon Avenue to its termination at Hutchinson Road. The road segment includes Bryan Avenue which intersects Loudon. Twentieth century trolley car tracks followed Limestone and Loudon avenues. Beyond the edge of Lexington's street and out lot grid, large farm estates owned by the county's elite occupied much of the favored land across the Fayette county countryside. The road passes the site of Bryan's Station and Grant's station which were frontier forts.
