This chapter explores the mysterious circumstances around the birth of Mae Murray’s son, Koran Mdivani, and her marriage to David Mdivani, who passed himself off as a prince. The chapter also covers the origins and history of the “marrying Mdivanis”, known for marrying rich and vulnerable women. Readers are introduced to Jeanette and Jack Donovan, an architect and his mother, who sold Murray a house and questionable antiques. Also covered are Murray’s appearances in her final MGM films: Altars of Desire, The Masked Bride, and Valencia.
