This chapter examines how Mae Murray developed a vaudeville act after her $3 million fortune was siphoned off by her husband, David Mdivani. Her lawsuits against Sylvia Ulbach, masseuse to the stars, and Jeannette and Jack Donovan are examined. The chapter also explores Murray’s purchase of beachfront property and the building of her pink palace in Playa del Rey.
