This final chapters begins with the release of That’s Entertainment! (1974), which brought newfound respect for the M-G-M musical and those who created them. Walters returns to directing, steering Lucille Ball in two television specials. He begins speaking engagements, leading to two semesters teaching at the University of Southern California. Chapter 28 discusses his fight against Mesothelioma, his legal adoption of companion Joseph Anthony, his lawsuit against the film studios for asbestos poisoning, and his death in 1982.
