In this chapter, Walters meets his long-time companion, actor-turned-agent John Darrow and reports on their home life in New York. Walters performs in Transatlantic Rhythm in London, and is featured on Broadway in The Show Is On (introducing the popular “Little Old Lady”) and Between the Devil partnering Vilma Ebsen. Walters discusses Fred Astaire’s influence on his dancing. This chapter also details the beginnings of Walters’ close friendship with actress Gloria Swanson.
