Dolores thrives, Helene languishes, and Maurice rallies briefly, getting a bit part in the film Hollywood Boulevard. Dolores has sent him money ever since their reconciliation, but Helene’s skyrocketing medical bills force her to curtail those payments. Maurice sues her for support and she agrees to make payments for an undisclosed period. Maurice joins Central Casting and gets additional extra work. Back on the West Coast, Jack visits the children, with disastrous results.
